The Faster Timeline of Modular Pasadena Homes versus Site Built Homes
Can USModular really build my Pasadena Modular Home faster?
YES! Through our streamlined planning process, controlled manufacturing conditions, and capability to avoid interruptions caused by weather, we can build your new dream home in less than 50% of the amount of time of traditional, on-site constructed homes without forgoing quality!
Streamlined Planning
USModular can complete your fully customized home faster because we make sure that all the steps that are required are finished before the home goes under construction. The construction plans are designed and drafted, permits are in-hand, building materials are ordered and ready, and the staff is ready to begin work immediately. Since our new prefab homes are not exposed to the extreme Pasadena heat, rain, and the elements, we can not only eliminate interruptions, but can prevent problems such as weather damages, warped wood, and mold during manufacturing!
What is the Expected Timeline for Modular Homes?
The length of time to build a custom prefabricated home will fluctuate greatly depending on the size and type of the modular new home built. Often times, the modular home manufacturing process can begin within around four to six months after the needed building permits are obtained. The standard modular new home is usually completed within 21 to 30 days from the time the manufacturing permits were obtained.
Within 34 – 40 days of completion, the custom new home is transported to the building location. The new prefab home is then set in to the pre-constructed foundation and is finished within 4 to 6 weeks from the on-site shipping date. The entire modular home manufacturing process takes roughly 6 – 9 months, from start to finish.
What is the Normal Timeline for Site Built Homes?
Its almost impossible to calculate an exact time span needed for a site built home. So many interruptions and disruptions can occur caused by for many excuses, and these delays can cause a great amount of extensions in pre-planned timelines. A site built home may leave restless customers waiting 17 to 18 months for a second-rate project to be completed. This discouraging timeframe can leave you with significantly higher expenses you had not accounted for!
