What is the Normal Timeline for Modular Homes?
The amount of time to build a modular home will vary greatly depending on the size and type of the modular home built. Generally, the modular home manufacturing process can begin within 4 to 6 weeks after the necessary building permits are obtained.
The typical modular home can be completed within 21 to 30 days from the time the building permits were obtained. Within 34 days of completion, the custom new home is shipped to the building site. The prefabricated home is then set into the pre-made foundation and is finished within 4 to 6 weeks from the shipping date.
The entire modular home construction process takes approximately 6 – 9 months, from start to finish.
